I must admit i was super excited when i saw the Kiko Mini Divas collection, which is their collection in conjunction with designer bag company Benedetta BruZZiches to celebrate 20 year of bringing us top quality cosmetics. Kiko are one of my favourite brands that provides great quality for affordable prices. Just like Mac they do regular limited edition collections, but best of all they do frequent Sales. I of course enjoy taking full advantage of this at least once a year!
The Mini Divas collection is feminine, girly and romantic in both packaging and shades. Everything in the collection is mini-sized and so unbelievably adorable. The blush pink with gold outer packaging is perfectly girly and the gold packaging is sleek and classy. I don’t know about you but pink packaging gets me every time!
There is a total of 4 single eyeshadows, a baked bronzer, a baked blush, a mascara & eyeliner set, 3 Lipsticks, a kabuki brush, a clutch case, a cleansing kit and nail kit. You can view the entire limited edition Mini Divas Collection here (UK) and here (USA). I was very lucky to receive one of the baked eyeshadows, the baked blusher and the adorable mini Kabuki Brush, that’s perfect for throwing in my handbag. There is a total of 4 eyeshadows in the collection and i plan on one of the other eyeshadow shades in Radiant Copper, as its a stunning rich rust shade and Kiko baked eyeshadows are some of my favourite eyeshadow formulations. The formulation of baked products are just sublime and add depth and dimension. Often if a product is baked i will lust after it. I also intend to get the Bronzer and the Practical Rose Lipstick. It’s taking every fiber in my body not to purchase the beautiful Clutch in the collection, as it would only be for photo purposes. Though i have been lusting after the blush pink bag in the Summer 2.0 collection that never seems to be available online here in the UK, but is available in the USA here (yes, i’m over here in the corner crying, its not fair).
*Kiko Milano Mini Divas Baked Eyeshadow – 01 Balanced Champagne – 0.5g
Best described as a shimmery pinky-champagne, with teeny tiny gold micro shimmers. The shade of this eyeshadow is exactly the type of shade i gravitate towards. As when applied all over the lid it really helps to brighten and open up the eyes. Its also beautiful as an inner corner highlight and due to the formula also applies beautifully as a highlight on the cheek bones. The colour pay off when dry is great but it can also be applied wet for a more eye-catching foiled look.
*Kiko Milano Mini Divas Baked Blush – Outstanding Cherry Flower – 1.8g
A beautiful matte rosy pink, with a slight cool undertone and tiny silver shimmer. This will look stunning on fair to medium skin-tones, but i feel this will look too ashy and chalky on deeper complexions. The pigmentation is great, not overly pigmented that you have the risk of looking like a clown but not sheer that it cannot be seen. The texture is incredibly smooth and it gives the perfect flush of pink to the cheeks, that works all year round.
*Kiko Milano Mini Divas Kabuki Brush
This adorably tiny kabuki brush not only looks cute enough to display on your makeup vanity but is incredibly soft, but dense enough to apply and buff out product at the same time. Its the perfect size to apply both bronzer and blush. I took this as my brush in my purse on the weekend for a girls night out and it was perfect for reapplying my highlight too. The fibers are synthetic, so great for those who are cruelty free as well as being easy to clean.
Kiko Mini Divas Swatches: Outstanding Cherry Flower – Balanced Champagne
This collection is adorable, and its definitely one of my favourites by Kiko yet. Have you tried anything from the Mini Divas collection? Did you know that Kiko currently have a sale going on to celebrate also?
